Little bar & gelateria in the "city", I have choosen the Obama Burger. It was the best burger so far and especially good were the fries because they are seasoned with herbs and salt. Usually on the island fries are not salted and often not crispy. Burger-sauce seems to be selfmade which is very nice. The icecream from the gelateria has some creative flavors and was good. Just service is a bit slow and you have to pay at the counter.

Very kind and english speaking personal. He brought us the food and Coffee very quick. In Addition he asked us if we like to have sugar for it. We also liked the cake and sweets. This is a great place for afternoon or morning chill with a view on the sea doen the street. The big plaza next to it was also very nice

Best Bifana I've had on my whole trip to the island. It comes on a soft bread that soaks up the plentiful delicious sauce. It's topped with perfectly sauteed onions that add an amazing sweet snap. The chorizo is the bonus on top of an already amazing pork filling. Must stop and eat here!

A great place to stop for a mix of Azorean and American food. They had burgers and pizza, but also several Azorean dishes that are worth trying. I had "chourico bombeiro" and it was one of the better sausages I have had. Really great flavor. It came with a hearty role as well. Only downside, they had a weird tv show on (at a high volume) that had a fair amount of violence. Since we were traveling with kids, we could have done without the TV (content and noise).

The food is very good! Authentic azore food, and also good burgers and pizza's. Don't forget to order icecream as desert, it's amazing!

Both food and deserts are amazing. They are very creative with their burgers. The quality is very good and for the price is cheap compared to the size you get. The staff is super nice and speaks English. Inside is pretty small but comfy. I will come again.
